Andy Crane is a British television and radio presenter, born on 24th February 1964 in Morecambe, Lancashire, England.
Crane started his career in broadcasting as a presenter on the BBC's children's "The Broom Cupboard" in 1987.
Andy Crane later became a presenter on the BBC's "Going Live!", a live Saturday morning children's show that ran from 1987 to 1993. He also acted as a relief presenter on Top of the Pops in 1988 and 1989.
After leaving "Going Live!", Crane moved into radio presenting. He presented the weekday afternoon show on Manchester-based Key 103 for several years, before moving to London to work for the commercial station Capital FM. He later joined the BBC's regional radio station in Manchester, BBC Radio Manchester.
