Caron Keating, born in 1962, was a British television presenter best known for her work on the BBC's children's programme "Blue Peter". She was born in Northern Ireland and began her career as a model before moving into broadcasting. Keating worked on a variety of TV shows, including "The Wide Awake Club" and "This Morning", before joining "Blue Peter" in 1986. She presented the programme for six years, becoming a popular figure with young viewers.
Keating co-presented two edition of Top of the Pops back in 1988.
Keating sadly passed away in 2004 at the age of 41, after a long battle with cancer.
