Neil Sedaka (born 13 March 1939 in Brooklyn, New York, died on 27 February 2026 at the age of 86) was an American pop singer, pianist, and songwriter often associated with the Brill Building era of song-writing. He teamed up with Howard Greenfield to write or co-write over 500 songs many major hit songs for himself and other artists, including "Stupid Cupid" for Connie Francis, "Is This the Way To Amarillo" for Tony Christie and "Love Will Keep Us Together" for Captain & Tennille.
