Jenny Powell

Jenny Powell is a British television presenter and radio host. She started her career in the late-1980s as a runner on BBC Radio Manchester before moving on to present various children's television shows.

Powell joined Top of the Pops in 1989 and became one of the show's regular presenters, hosting alongside the likes of Mark Goodier and Simon Mayo.

In addition to her work in music television, Powell has presented a wide range of other programmes, from game shows and lifestyle shows to travel documentaries and radio programmes. She has also appeared as a contestant on shows such as Celebrity Masterchef and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

Powell presented a number of editions of Top of the Pops in 1989.
