Trivia

At the end of the show a special version of the "Who Do You Think You Are" music video is shown. It includes the "Sugar Lumps" - a satirical version of the Spice Girls played by Kathy Burke, Dawn French, Llewella Gideon, Lulu, and Jennifer Saunders; filmed for Comic Relief in 1997.
The format of the show is slightly tweaked moving forwards. The artist introduction "you're watching TOTP" video at the start of the program has been canned, and the show starts with the opening titles, and then goes straight into the first performance without a presenter. Performance captions are now featured only at the end of a performance.
