Noel Edmonds

Noel Edmonds is a well-known British television and radio presenter who rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s. He is perhaps best known for his role as a presenter on Top of the Pops, which he regularly hosted from 1972 to 1978.

In addition to his work on Top of the Pops, Edmonds also hosted a number of other television shows, including the popular Saturday morning show Multi-Coloured Swap Shop, Noel's House Party, The Late Late Breakfast Show and Deal or No Deal.

Edmonds is also well known for his work on BBC Radio 1, where he was a presenter from 1970 to 1983. He hosted a number of shows during this time, including the Sunday afternoon show, "Noel Edmonds' Sunday Show", which was a mix of music and light-hearted entertainment.

Noel guest co-presented the 1000th edition of Top of the Pops in 1983, shortly before leaving BBC Radio 1.
