Pat Sharp is a British radio and television presenter, born on October 25th, 1961. He is best known for his work on Radio 1 between 1982 and 1983. He later moved to Capital Radio where he presented the weekday mid-morning show and the Saturday morning show with co-host Mick Brown. They both teamed up together to release a number of charity singles in the 1980s.
Sharp started his career in radio in the late 1970s, working for local stations before joining Radio 1 in 1982. He quickly became a popular presenter with his upbeat and lively style, and his catchphrases such as "Fun, Fun, Fun" and "Sharp at the Weekend" became well-known.
In addition to his work on Radio 1, Sharp also hosted several television shows, including "Fun House" and Top of the Pops.
Sharp presented Top of the Pops from 1982 to 1983. He also returned to guest co-host the last weekly edition of Top of the Pops in July 2006.
