Phil Collins made his solo TOTP debut with “In The Air Tonight” on this episode, and backstage Dave Lee Travis said to Collins, "this record is going to be a top three." Collins didn't believe him because the track had been made haphazardly, but the next week it went in at No. 3 in the charts.
This episode has not been repeated on BBC Four since late 2012, as it is presented by Dave Lee Travis.
