Nicky Campbell

Nicky Campbell is a well-known Scottish radio and television presenter who is currently a presenter for BBC Radio 5 Live's breakfast programme. He was born in April 1961 in Edinburgh, Scotland, and started his broadcasting career at BBC Radio Scotland in the early 1980s. He then moved to London to work for BBC Radio 1, where he presented a range of programmes, including the breakfast show and the Saturday morning show.

In addition to his work on the radio, Campbell has also presented a number of popular television programmes, including BBC's Watchdog and ITV's Wheel of Fortune. He is also known for his work as a journalist, and has written for a number of publications, including The Guardian and The Independent.

Throughout his career, Campbell has won several awards for his work, including a Sony Radio Academy Award in 1994 for Best Breakfast Show. 

Campbell regularly presented Top of the Pops from 1988 to 1991. He also returned to present TOTP in 1994 after Radio 1 DJ presenters were reintroduced. Campbell regularly hosted the programme from 1994 to 1996, and presented one edition of the show in 1997.
