Fearne Cotton is a well-known English radio and television presenter who has been active in the entertainment industry since the early 2000s. She was born on September 3, 1981, London, England. Cotton started her career at the age of 15, working for various local commercial radio stations.
In 2003, she joined the BBC's "CBBC" and later presented various other TV shows, including "Top of the Pops," "The Xtra Factor," and "Celebrity Juice." She also appeared as a contestant on the BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2013, finishing in fifth place.
Cotton was a regular presenter on BBC Radio 1 from 2005, hosting various programs, including the mid-morning show and the Chart Show. In addition to her radio and television work, Cotton is a bestselling author, having written several books, including "Happy: Finding joy in every day and letting go of perfect."
Fearne Cotton regularly presented Top of the Pops from 2003 up until July 2006 when the weekly editions stopped. However, Cotton co-presented the Christmas and New Years Top of the Pops specials from 2006 until 2021, making her one of the longest serving presenters of TOTP.
