Pete Murray is a British radio DJ and television presenter, widely recognised for his work on BBC Radio 1 and his appearances on Top of the Pops (TOTP). Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Murray became a popular voice on Radio 1 in the 1960s, known for his smooth style and in-depth knowledge of music.
He also appeared as a presenter on Top of the Pops during the 1960s. Regularly presenting the show from January 1964 to December 1969. Murray also returned to co-host the 900th and 25th anniversary TOTP specials.
